…with a sign that read “Hi my name is Tae Yun Kim, I want to be your friend”.I spoke very little English at the time. Of those homes,only two invited me in and gave me their hospitality. It is one of my cherished memories and greatest joy. All my life I overcame many challenges, such as discrimination within my own country for simply being born a girl, in the United States for being an Asian woman, in the martial arts world for being a female master, starting a technology business with no technical background, but with a vision from God, and so much more. I understand and embrace challenges because I am a warrior not only in the martial arts, but in life. The Lord has blessed me with these trials, which I have conquered, and the successes I have achieved. My experiences have granted me humility, compassion, and gratitude for life. I kept my vision alive by pursuing the American Dream and help others become the Master of their own life too, so they can Break through to Awesome! No matter my circumstances, I focused on my goals and stood firm in my Motto: “He Can Do, She Can Do, Why Not Me!” You can too! Let’s achieve success together!
